THIS IS WHAT OUR GUESTS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THEIR VISIT TO SWELL VIEW...

Swell View Bude is a real home away from home. Well presented, relaxed and has all the home comforts you need, with added views of the sea. Just a short walk from the beach, local shops and eateries, the location is perfect.

During our weekend break we enjoyed great food.  The Olive Tree, has great vegan/vegetarian options, and La Bocca is great for pizza. There are also plenty of places to enjoy a pre-dinner drink from Bar ThirtyFive and North Coast Wine Warehouse & Lounge - both stocking local beers, ciders and gin.

There are plenty of activities to keep you busy, with walks along the canal and coastal paths, allowing you to explore beaches and bays alike - its also clearly a water sports paradise, but but we weren’t so brave due to the weather! There’s also a local links style golf course. Definitely lots to do on our next visit.

We’d highly recommended - Thank you Rachel and Dave for being such great hosts and sharing your wonderful home with us.

What’s not to like? Swell View, Bude is everything it promises to be. An ideal base for exploring and it definitely feels like home from home. The amount of space in the flat is incredible. Its well-equipped rooms have everything you need for a wonderful holiday and more besides. Such attention to detail! The newly-fitted bathroom has a good layout and a very efficient shower to boot.

As an older couple, we had no children with us. However, it was clear to see that the well-maintained play park, situated just across the road from Swell View, had so much to offer for the younger generation and was really popular.

We decided to use public transport to visit Boscastle one day. This proved to be a very wise choice, especially with the route having such narrow roads and the pick-up point only 10 minutes walk down the road.

The close proximity to the coastal path means there is just so much to explore. We discovered such a small part of it that we will have to go back.

Markets and events a plenty add extra interest and things to do. There are so many small local businesses to support with goods at a reasonable price. The locals are so friendly and ever ready for a chat.

The choice of places to eat sells itself. You won’t be disappointed, whatever your preferences may be. With a wide range of shops nearby, you have everything on your doorstep.

We will be back!

Just wanted to say thank you so much for another wonderful stay. As per last time, the apartment was wonderfully well equipped and comfortable, it’s definitely a home from home. We managed to explore a lot more of the local area this time and found some lovely walks, such as Merlins cave and St Nectans Glen. However we still very much enjoyed our morning on the beautiful summerleaze beach, Bude has everything we need and want for a family getaway, whether it be summer or winter. Thanks for making everything so easy for us and being so available if we had any questions. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at Swell View Bude for 5 nights with a young family. The rooms were spacious and there were plenty of amenities to keep the children entertained in the property. Everything had been thought of, highchair. child friendly plates and cups, board games, and dvds. Everything was super clean and waking up to a sea view every morning was delightful! The flat is situated opposite a brilliant park and it is a very short walk to the sea front. Thank you for having us Swell View!

My wife and I had a lovely one night stay at Swell View as we were attending a gig at the nearby music venue The Wyldes.

The property was so easy to find and we managed to park right outside to unload the car before parking overnight in the very close by public Carpark (£7.20 24hrs)

All of the arrival instructions sent to us were perfect and meant we gained access to the property easily.

The flat is beautiful. It is spacious, exceptionally clean and well presented. The kitchen is modern and clean as is the bathroom. There are lots of lovely local art work and “Nick-nacks” giving it a really nice family feel (we’re going to bring the children next time). The hosts have provided absolutely loads of things to do should you be lucky enough to have a long stay, with books, a comprehensive DVD library and games for all ages.

Our bed was super comfy with no lumps, bumps or creeks.

A quick walk down the road leads to cafes and restaurants (lovely pizza at La Boca) and the beach is no more than a 10 min walk.

We’ve really no complaints at all and will certainly stay here again as both a family and just the two of us if we get the chance to have a night away.
